Spot on got my focus 1.8 tdci done smoother drive more responsive, you could see the carbon coming out of exhaust when he cleaned the turbo 🙂

Bernie was absolutely amazing dealing with my Saab 9-3 (2008 Sportswagon). Had DPF issues for months that I've been unable to get diagnosed elsewhere. Was starting to be a huge issue for me as I'm up and down the A1 between Gateshead and Suffolk all the time. Took 2-3 hours to properly diagnose the issue and get me a temporary fix that held solid for a 550 mile round trip before being able to get a time the following week to get it properly sorted. Have done over 1,000 miles since Bernie worked his magic and the car has felt like a new beast the entire time with no signs of the issue relapsing (the original issue would rear its ugly head maybe 250-300 miles after a manual DPF clean prior). Would absolutely recommend for all DPF related issues. Takes his time to get to the bottom of whatever is causing your issues and has a wealth of experience to back that up. Reasonably priced for all work done and incredibly easy to get booked in and sorted. Cheers!read more

Absolute legend ber ie was a gent. Fixed my issue with my dpf as dpf warning light came on on my car. Did a smoke test and found out a boost pipe was leaking. Ordered part turned out to be wrong fitment and reordered from main dealers had this fitted & did a diagnostic and a re gen. Car performing really well now. 5 starsread more

Phoned Bernie on a Tuesday with dpf mil warning light problem on my sons car. Had already been to a main dealer and an independent dealer. Fault kept returning. Had cost a shed load of money trying to correct this fault. Bernie came out a couple of days later and within a couple of hours had the fault sorted Total cost with call out and diagnostic test just over a hundred pounds. Bernie is a really knowledgeable nice guy who really cares about you and your car. Very highly recommended.read more

I couldn’t have hoped for better! I was desperate to get my car out of limp mode, I needed my car on the road ASAP and was worried. Local garages avoid DPF like the plague or are too busy for a week or so. I gave Burnie I ring and he came on the same day after dealing with a job near my area. He did a regeneration and it did the job! I was so pleased, considering I was at leeming and he is based in Darlington. Burnie is a super nice guy and I couldn’t thank him enough.read more

Extremely honest and great to chat to is Bernie. Had an error code related to the DPF which was causing the car to be stuck in limp mode for well over a month. Turned out that there was no build up of soot, but a pressure sensor that needed fixing that Bernie replaced and resolved my issue. What I loved most was Bernie's approach, which was to find out what was causing the fault and go from there. Had another garage quote me £350 to remove the filter from the car and clean it manually, when this wasn't even the fault! Think what any customer wants is honesty and that's what you'll certainly get here. If in doubt give Bernie a call as he is extremely friendly as is more than happy to answer any questions that you may have. A five star service from me! Many thanksread more

Called last night, was able to squeeze me in at the end of his day today. After I'd replaced a DPF sensor on my car I was unable to clear the last error code. The car was stuck in limp mode. Bernie quickly diagnosed the issue, checked the new sensor was reading correctly. Made sure that I'd not caused a problem when fitting it and the DPF wasn't blocked. Error was cleared and a short test drive confirmed the car was back to normal and there was no issue with the DPF. Prompt, polite and pleasant to deal with. Would highly recommend and wouldn't hesitate in calling again for any future assistance.read more

Spanner light on my 2008 zafira would not stay off so I knew I had an emmisions problem.I wanted someone whom I thought would cure my problem or at least tell me exactly what the problem was.This chap came to my house from 20 miles away , diagnosed a leaking pipe on theDRF valve with his extensive diagnostic kit got under the car replaced said pipe £60 what more can I say.read more

I contacted Bernie from Terra - clean as the engine light came on, on my car. He quickly found that the EGR valve was faulty and needed to be replaced. I have a very good looking but stubborn Italian car (Alfa 159 2.4). She failed her MOT on emissions quite badly (oops) so I asked Bernie to have a look. He arrived early and got straight to work, but what marked him out as a star was his fault funding before any other work started. He helped me and my dirty Italian a huge amount and the advice will help me with other issues that she has. The terraclean did genuinely do wonders for her too. She starts quickly - didn't before. Smooth and even tickover- didn't before. Had 2 diffrent sets of mechanics look at my van, both diagnosed the problem wrong costing me a lot of cash in failing to fix. So i called up mr alleway at terraclean on s saturday afternoon. Have used A1 Terraclean twice, the first time on my 04 plate Vectra diesel and the last time was recently on my 13 plate Citroen C4 HDI. Bought a used BMW X3, after a week it was in limp mode, rang these guys and arrived next day, they ran diagnostics to find the fault before deciding on what treatment was needed, found out faulty thermostats were not allowing the car to regent the dpf so it blocked, he unblocked the dpf and advised fitting 2 new thermostats which I had done the same week, car has been faultless since, thanks a lot, looking forward to a terraclean to keep it in top form, 5 starsread more
